Welcome to Paradise

This is the third and largest rendition of a scene I painted depicting these palm trees at Fort DeSoto.

It's two ft x 3 ft, oil on canvas.

On that day, over three years ago, there was something about the crispness of the sky and the motion of the palms that lifted my spirits and inspired me to paint it.

I used jumbo brushes, flat angle brushes and palette knives.

It was fun and exciting!
